WALL ART - BUTTERFLY
I don't know about you but I don't like plain walls - the more decoration the better! I recently repainted my room (most of the walls are white and the feature wall is a light beige/grey colour called Fawn) and there was this little section of wall above my bedside table and pictures that seemed to be missing a little SOMETHING.
So a little internet trolling, pinterest and facebooking later.....

I found a solution! Butterflies!
I originally found the idea on Stylish Eve on Facebook and then adapted it to suit the colour scheme of my room. Basically this DIY project involves sticking paper butterflies onto a wall, this is the original version of it:

STEP 1: INGREDIENTS
For this DIY project you will require:
- Pretty coloured paper (anything you like)
- A butterfly punch/cutter (I have one by Martha Stewart)
- You don't necessarily need to cut out butterflies, it can be flowers or what ever you like really
- Blue-tack
STEP 2: CUT OUT THE BUTTERFLIES
I cut out a pile of butterflies using my Martha Stewart butterfly punch (you can buy them off
Amazon).
I had some old pads of coloured paper from other DIY projects lying around so I used that paper.
I chose light colours that matched my room decor.
STEP 3: ARRANGE ARTFULLY
Fold your cut-out butterflies in half so that they look like they are flying, then place some blue-tack in the middle of the butterfly so that you can attach it to the wall. Artfully arrange them as desired.
